Backing, Producing and Retraining

At Hudds Farm we believe in taking a sympathetic approach, gradually introducing horses to tack, lunging and ridden work. 

By keeping the horse relaxed, happy, and forward thinking in their work and bringing the horse on gradually, and at their own pace, you avoid creating insecurities in young horses.

In our experience always trying to finish any session on a positive note for the horse encourages them to look forward to their next lesson.

By taking the above approach we have found that it is often possible to help horses over come their fears anxieties and insecurities.

We are happy to take on all horses for training from youngsters that have hardly been handled to racehorses that need reeducating.
